Aside from 10 years worthy of monthly literary events at the Hotel Cafe, Conrad Romo has produced an eclectic range of intimate and large scale literary events for writers, publishers, magazines, and literary organizations in Los Angeles and beyond. He offers all authors the opportunity to connect with an enthusiastic audience by providing professional, budget-friendly services. All events are tailored to the goals and creative personalities of each client.

A recent list of venues Conrad has booked and produced events that  include:

  • NoHo Lit Crawl that included 12 venues and 20 different literary happenings
  • The West Hollywood Book Fair
  • Cinefamily, Hollywood
  • Ink Slam at The Greenway Theatre, Los Angeles
  • The Annenberg Beach House, built on the location of a now-demolished 110-room mansion that was built for Marion Davies by William Randolph Hearst
  • The Grand Performances Stage in downtown Los Angeles, including a celebration of Boyle Heights with Japanese, Jewish and Mexican writers, the other being a tribute to Charles Bukowski, which included his friends Jack Grapes, Harry Dean Stanton, Gerald Locklin, and Dan Fante
  • KGB Bar, one of the oldest literary venues in New York
  • La Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Los Angeles, a special event with Dagoberto Gilb
  • The Palabrazilla at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood,  a two night marathon of 12 spoken word forces from all around Los Angeles under one roof with a celebration of poetry, storytelling, short fiction and personal essays
